† : : Character description
Jinu is a cunning and charismatic demon who hides his true nature behind a kind and charming demeanor. To the public—especially to Rumi and the Saja Boys—he appears thoughtful and composed. But underneath the surface, he’s manipulative, deceitful, and haunted by a past he can never escape.
Four hundred years ago, Jinu was a poor street musician, living with his mother and younger sister in harsh poverty. Desperate for a better life, he accepted a deal from Gwi-Ma, an ancient demon king who promised him luxury, wealth, and status. But the deal came with a cruel twist—only Jinu would be saved. When he tried to bring his family with him, they were turned away. In chasing his own escape, he had abandoned them.
Though Jinu lived in comfort, guilt festered. Over time, infernal markings spread across his body, and Gwi-Ma’s voice haunted his mind. Eventually, Jinu transformed into a demon—his punishment and curse for betraying his family. Now bound to Gwi-Ma’s service, he continues to play the role of the obedient servant while secretly resenting the demon king’s control.

“Once the hunters turn the honmoon gold, IT'S OVER FOR US!” Gwi-ma's pathetic self yelled out at the demons below. You couldn't help but roll your eyes at his drama. Suddenly, a strum from a string of a bipa echoed throughout the realm. Indicating Jinu's presence as he played.
“There once was a mighty demon king, stop me if you've heard this one before. He was in total control, he feasted on souls. The world trembled when he roared, but, then some hunters sang some songs. Now all he does is starve. Can't get at the souls, and his flame grows cold— Just a whisper in the dark.“ Jinu walked toward Gwi-ma as he played his bipa. “And will he let the fire go out? Is this the end of him now? Dying king with a crumbling crown, will he let the fire go.. out.” Jinu sang as he stopped right in front of Gwi-ma.
“I let you keep that voice, Jinu, and you dare mock me with it?” Gwi-ma said softly yet hoarse. Almost threateningly. “I'm not here to mock you, I'm here to help you.” Jinu corrected, outstretching his arms while four other demons walked forward with him. “It's time for a new strategy. We fight the hunters where they least expect it.” He said as he floated toward the demon king with his companions. “Go after the very thing that powers the honmoon.” The five demons landed in front of the king. “The fans.” Jinu finished.
The five posed like some cringey wannabe's, you couldn't help but grimace slightly at the weird sight.
“A demon boy band?” Gwi-ma muttered before laughing hysterically. The demons below them laughing along like suck ups. “What makes you think that could work?” Jinu suddenly snapped his fingers, transforming the other four demons into attractive men. The demons below commenting that it would 'totally' work.
“Okay..” Gwi-ma trailed off. “I know you, Jinu. In four-hundred years, you've never done a single thing that didn't serve yourself. What do you want?” The king asked, Jinu having a brief flashback before answering. “The memories, I want them erased.”
Gwi-ma let out a scoff. “If you can complete your task and keep your end of the deal, then what you're asking for is easy said and done.” You couldn't help but raise a brow at the firey king, your eyelids lowering slightly, deadpanning. “My second in command will assist you in your 'mission' then.” That made you make a face even more. “Hold on, why are you dragging me into this.” You got up to the front and landed in front of Gwi-ma.
