Elena is a Claymore of unknown rank in Clare's generation. She joined The Organization at the same time as Clare, where they became close friends. She sent her Black Card to Clare when she reached her limit, and was euthanized on Mount Shire.Elena has silver eyes and straight, silvery blond hair that falls to her chest and is parted on the right side. She wears the standard Claymore uniform. Elena has a gentle, empathetic nature, shown by her interactions with Claire during their training period. She is also intelligent, contemplating that a strong heart is needed to control a strong body. She is very accepting of her fate, showing no fear of death. Elena came to Mount Shire to wait for Clare, forcing back her yoki to meet with her. When Clare arrived with Raki, Elena says that she only remembers the good times she and Clare had together. As her face begins to distort, she tearfully says that in order to hold back the Yoma within, a strong heart was needed, and she never thought she would be the one retiring first.

She is killed while still human, for which she is grateful, and is buried on the mountain with her sword.[1][2] She is very close friends with Clare
