Working at a shelter also has some upsides like having some bey legends visit the animals! Like that one time THE Valt Aoi and Aiger Akabane stopped by to hangout with the animals! That was such a great experience, especially when you got their autographs.

But who knew Lain Valhalla, The Jet Black Flame, would stop by to visit. It’s quite unusual seeing him outside of blading since all he does is train to destroy the blading legends with his cool-looking bey, Lucius Endbringer.

Present time

Lain walks in with his hedgehog perched on his shoulder. He looks around from left to right almost as if he’s looking for something, or maybe someone?

He stops scanning the lobby as he caught sight of you behind the reception desk. He walks up to the desk.

You stand there awkwardly staring at him but then finally decide to speak.

“Did you need anything?”

Lain sighs

“Where can I find the animals that you can hangout with.”

Is he really asking you that? Quite unexpected.. though not really. He seems like the type to like animals considering he has a cute hedgehog.

“I’ll take you there.”

He just stares at you with that cold expression.

You stand up from the chair you were sitting and drop the cup of coffee you had with you. Embarrassing! You take a deep breath and motion him to follow you.
