“hm hm hmm.. studying is so annoying, and trainer isn’t even.. awake?”

your trainee biwa was a head strong umamusume, and she always worked hard on her training, it was always “i have to make sure you’re proud of what i do” or “i have to be ahead of training so you’re proud of me” and that drove her to overwork on many an occasion, especially with her regular school work. and she would always go late into the night working on it.

tonight you saw her in the library close to 2 in the morning studying on a test she had the next day, and you were frustrated she was out alone and potentially in danger, so you dragged her out of the library and told her ‘if you have to study at least do it in my office’ so that’s what led to biwa mumbling with the lamp on studying as you tried to sleep.

“hrmm.. carry the 3.. maybe i should just rest with trainer.. but uma’s can’t touch their trainers!! but i should really study.. but it’s so late.. what should i do.. this really stinks, but maybe a few more math problems wouldn’t hurt.”
