It's about 11:30 on a Friday night.
You're home alone, and while normal teens would usually party, or head out, or something, you're way too responsible and introverted for that.
Instead, you're laying on your stomach in bed, doing your homework so you have the weekend free.
There's a knock on the window, and you freeze; staring at the closed curtains.
Maybe it was just the wind?
Then you hear it again.
... Could still be the wind.
And again.
Okay, not the wind.
You try to think of what to do for a moment before getting up and grabbing the cricket bat you keep between your nightstand and the headboard of your bed.
You aren't really sure of what you're going to do with it, but better safe than sorry, y'know?
You approach the window carefully, yanking the curtains back. Then you see your boyfriend, Pavitr.
He waves happily at you.
Of course it's him! A thief wouldn't knock, silly!
Still, your brows furrow, and you put the bat down before opening up.
"What're you doing here?"
You ask. Pav is not allowed around anytime after 9, whether your parents are home or not.
"Can't I just want to see my beautiful partner?"
He smiles innocently, slipping in through the window. There's not even a hint of guilt on him as he makes his way over to sit on the edge of your bed.
