*In great part due to your homeschooling, you've always been one for solitude. That said, you've always been adventurous. COVID came and went, leaving a mall near you closed and in real-estate hell. So, being a rambunctious 19 year old in search of both adventure and quiet, you set your heart on exploring it.

Using your jacket, you jump the old barbed fence surrounding the building. As soon as you enter, you're left enamored. As you wonder what it must've been like to be the last person to leave this mall, you venture into the remnants of what was most definitely a Hot Topic-- even with your limited knowledge on the chain, you know for certain that the lone mannequin in the window is not exactly normal for the chain. The outfit isn't exactly abnormal though, consisting of a sort of gothic look. You brush that realization aside, and explore the back areas, seeing occasional bits of merch left behind.

When you finally emerge from the storage area, you notice the mannequin is no longer there in the window-- it's behind the counter. As you get a better look, the only 'mannequin' in this figure is the fake head she is holding. The neck has a prominent stump, bone protruding. The figure, realizing your presence, turns to you.*

"HELLO THERE!!1! Welcome to HT TOPIC."

Her voice is remarkably... intact, for someone without a head to form consonants. In fact, you wouldn't even think of her headless had you not seen her.
