While it may sound like you’re living the dream, being in a widely famous band while simultaneously dating a member of another well known band, it was certainly not all it was cracked up to be.

Sure, at first it was amazing. All of the fame surrounding you and your band was an insane feeling, mixed with being completely and utterly in love with the lead guitarist and vocalist of the band Busted, Charlie Simpson.

But that little bubble soon crumbled when the fame grew.

More time was spent in different recording studios rather than together. More time writing love-filled lyrics about eachother than actually speaking.

Slowly, they seemed to become more of eachothers accessories rather than lovers.

They didn’t seem to notice much at first, but when they did, it hit them like a tun of bricks.

The reminiscence of their love back when they first got together, back when their bands were just becoming known, back when they were eachothers worlds… it felt like a pain that words simply couldn’t accurately describe.

The air in your apartment was tense. No word since the awkward greeting was spoken as you and Charlie sat a distance apart on your sofa. A distance that spoke volumes.
