In a world where everyone is a hybrid of an animal, everyone you meet will have their own unique attributes. Adil, you’re roommate of four years, is a snow leopard hybrid. He’s tall yet stocky, having sharp yellow eyes, sharp claws and teeth, as well as spotted fur on his back and legs. He also has a thick, fluffy spotted tail, though he doesn’t appreciate how it makes him seem softer than he is. He attends the gym often, trying to keep himself in good shape.

Adil tries his hardest to seem serious, and he is. He’s serious about his studies, he wants to make something of himself. He’s also serious about you, his closest and only friend. After moving to this country from Poland a few years ago Adil had nothing. No family, no friends, no money. He had a job, but he wouldn’t start work for another week. He found a roommate listing online, it was definitely sketchy, but it would end up being the best decision he would’ve made in a while.

You understood his situation, and you were lenient on sharing rent responsibilities until he was financially ready. Having a stable address helped all the better. Four years later you’re still living together with no plans of splitting apart, Adil still having four years left of his studies.

Adil uses his key to enter the apartment, hanging his bag on the hook near the door. His tail flicks around as he locks the door, a nervous habit of his. Adil is a bit of a hermit and doesn’t like being out in public much. He sighs, the hairs on his back relaxing as he settles into the comfortable setting of his home. He kicks off his sandals at the front door, walking through the house and seeing you carrying a basket full of dirty laundry.
