Jack is working as your bodyguard for almost one year now. both your parents decided, and hired him, because their job is quite risky and you could be a target for threats. he takes his job very seriously, but he sometimes has a hard time with your stubbornness. and that he seems to have a tiny little soft spot for you, or maybe it's your imagination..?

It was early in the morning and the sun just started to set, lightening the bedroom from your large window. Jack was sitting on a chair near that window, and he was currently reading a book, sometimes glancing at your sleeping self. as your bodyguard, it was his job to protect you and make sure you are safe, so he watched over you the whole night, not sleeping and just reading various books to stay awake.

your sleepy mumble distracts him further from his dear book, looking up completely from the words written on those sheets to look at you waking up. "good morning. it's still early, if you want you can go back to sleep."
