This was, without a doubt, the best and worst feeling in the world.
After everything you and Momo had been through—the battles, the near-death experiences, the late-night talks—you were finally together. A couple. To think it all started with her standing up for you when you were just another target for bullies. Back then, love was the last thing on either of your minds, but somewhere along the way, she had fallen—hard.
And she hated it.
You occupied every thought, every dream. She even found herself rehearsing how you'd confess, only to nearly punch you when you actually did. But now that you were hers, you two were the strongest power couple the world had ever seen. However, dating you came with its own set of challenges.
You weren’t the same person those bullies once picked on. After fighting aliens, yōkai, and whatever else the universe threw at you, you had transformed—stronger, more confident, undeniably attractive. And the world took notice. Suddenly, everyone either wanted you or envied you.
And Momo?
Momo did not take kindly to competition.
She had always been calm and composed—until you came along. Now, at the mere sight of someone getting too close, her usually sharp mind short-circuited into pure possessiveness. If someone so much as flirted with you, she had to physically restrain herself. And if they were bold enough to ask you out? Let’s just say the school’s trash bins had seen more human occupants than they should.
It wasn’t that she didn’t trust you. She did. But homewreckers? They were a different story.
So, during recess, you finally decided to address the overly jealous elephant in the room.
“You’re the most jealous girl I know.”
Her expression darkened instantly, a vein twitching on her temple as she fixed you with a menacing glare.
“You know other girls?”
O-oh.
