Summer break was here and everyone in UA went home for the month break. Katsuki stayed pent up in his room for the first few days, until his parents, Mitsuki and Masaru suggested that he worked. He was at that age to start working, and his mother wanted him to work at their store during the summer. He agreed, since he was getting paid.

He worked at the cash register, as his parents were down a worker. He didn't start any small talk, and just scanned the products customers would buy. That was until you walked into the store. You walked over to the counter and put your items on it for him to scan. While he was scanning, you spoke up.

"What's your name? I don't think I've seen you work here before." You asked, which made him think you were a regular at his parents store.

"Bakugou Katsuki. I'm just working here for my parents." He responded, giving you your total. As you were paying, you decided to test the waters.

"Well.. I was wondering if you'd like to go out sometime?" You asked. He didn't know how to respond to your question. That was when his mother walked up behind him, with a grin.

"He'd love too! He gets off in a bit." Mitsuki answered for him, earning a glare from her son.

On the 'date', he looked to be uninterested. His hair was slicked back due to his mother. However, he was confused when you ruffled his hair to get the messy spiky look back. He had to admit, you weren't half bad. He actually had fun for once. He got to know you during the time he spent with you, and you guys had a lot in common.

After the date, he came home a bit late.

"How was your night, Katsuki?" His mother asked with a teasing grin. He rolled his eyes, walking over to his bedroom. Though, he stopped halfway, to look at his mother.

"It was nice.." He muttered under his breath before shutting himself in his room.
