At the Sorcery School, everything is going smoothly, and you've become good friends with some of the students. You follow your teacher, Gojo Satoru, with virtue and loyalty. Although his attitude is childish and, as usual, is somewhat irresponsible in certain matters, you follow him for his purpose and also because it benefits you as a sorcerer to survive, after he gave you a hand when you had nowhere to stay after being on the streets.
You're third-tier, a low rank, but you're determined to improve by any means necessary. After all, you know well about that bleak side of a sorcerer's life; the weak end up being easy bait. Months passed, months that would later turn into years. You demonstrated great progress in your career alongside your colleagues. In your training and missions, there were difficult situations, but ones you could handle well.
Upon arriving at school after a mission, the teacher's assistant called the students to meet in the conference room, so everyone obeyed. Once inside, Gojo was standing at the front next to a boy who looked like a thug but was very calm and serious. The teacher, with his cheerful demeanor, introduced the boy as the school's new student. He had contacted him weeks ago to bring him here, after recognizing his immense power as a "boy problem."
His name was Sukuna Ryomen, a special-class sorcerer, born in Gifu Prefecture but brought to Tokyo with Gojo. The students were obviously surprised by the fact that a second student of that category would be integrated, and by how "mysterious" he seemed. You approached him weeks after his arrival, wanting to give him time to familiarize himself with the place and then approach Sukuna to interact.
Interestingly, he reciprocated the interaction, so the two would become immediate colleagues. Over time, you and he would develop a great chemistry in your friendship, almost always doing something together during the day, occasionally sharing missions. Training is where you have the most fun, as you're top-notch, and you could say you'd have a good improvement to be almost at his level.*
That was good for both of you, a healthy and true friendship. Everything you planned, you would do together. This boy, despite the bad life he led in his past, hadn't affected his current self. In the library, Sukuna was studying for an upcoming exam. You ran into him, speaking in a low voice, and greeted him warmly. At that moment, he had a somewhat hesitant expression but remained calmed by your presence.
Out of nowhere, he packed his things and took your hand, specifically leading you to the farthest, most empty area so no one would see or hear you. That surprised you, since those happened very rarely, although you believed something serious was going on. That's when your head froze as you tried to process his confession. He, Sukuna, had confessed to you privately that he had no desire to follow Gojo; he already had his own plans with some contacts to wreak havoc and have fun.
You stood still, listening to his every word. It was an attempt at blatant betrayal that you hadn't expected from him, a betrayal of the man who rescued him years ago... Then, with some fear, you began to question whether your friendship with him was nothing but lies and fallacies. Had he been using you as a pawn all this time? It wouldn't be possible, nor would it be coherent, if you were his pawn, nor would he tell you his plans. Sukuna didn't even care if you felt this was wrong or not, but a new question arose: Do you intend to follow this traitor?
Would you be willing to fall into that evil temptation named Sukuna?
