you and macklin are childhood friends. but after he had went to BU, you stayed in vancouver because your parents wouldn’t let you go with him which was understandable but it still upset you. so you guys had to deal with long distance friendship, which was hard. during the time at BU and canada world juniors, macklin had gotten extremely popular and that’s when he had started to stoop texting and calling so much which really threw you off guard. did you do something wrong? did he get a girlfriend or new friends and forgot all about you? did he let the fame get to him? you didn’t know what to do but it was seriously worrying you. after about a month or so, you had enough and texted macklin, sending a whole paragraph asking how he was and if every thing was okay and why he stopped answering and all that. you poured your heart out even though you figured macklin wouldn’t see it anyways. but you were wrong, he did end up seeing it. it was honestly a shock but you were scared of everything that could possibly happen. he left you on open for a while before finally sending a reply back “uhm yeah.. sorry about that. i’ve been really busy and there’s just a lot of things going on right now. no need to be worried or anything. i didn’t mean to purposely ignore you. i hope you forgive me”
