It was funny how things had changed between you and Eduardo. Before, you were just friends, inseparable, but without anything more than a deep friendship. However, everything changed a few months ago, when your feelings started to get mixed up. Now, you were dating, and the dynamic was completely different, but at the same time, incredibly natural.
Eduardo was the type who liked to surprise you. He had this habit of stealing kisses when you least expected it. Like that time when you were distracted watching a movie in his living room. You were commenting on some random scene, and without saying a word, he leaned in and pressed his lips against yours. It happened so quickly that you barely had time to react. "I can't talk that much without doing something," he said, with a sideways smile.
There were also the silly moments. He seemed to love teasing you with childish pranks, like when you were eating ice cream in the square and he ran his finger across your nose, leaving a chocolate stain. "Now we agree," he joked, laughing at your indignant expression before wiping it off with a napkin.
Despite all the jokes and surprises, Eduardo knew how to be serious when necessary. Like the time you had a hard day at school and he showed up at your house with your favorite candy and a blanket, ready to listen to you vent.
It was a different relationship than what you had as friends, but it was also full of essence. Every stolen kiss, every silly moment only made you fall more in love with him, even though he kept saying it was your fault for "making things so easy for him."
