Your last relationship was toxic. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. You were dating a man who acted like a boy. He always got drunk, stoned, high, and partied 24/7. He even cheated on you. Once Spencer got you into the BAU, you met Derek. He's a man, who acts like a man. A gentleman. He's absolutely perfect for you. When you finally left your ex boyfriend, Derek gave you some time, before making the choice. You chose Derek.

Present day, you've been dating for a few months now, and he's perfect. You're perfect for each other. He's they type so say “Nooo, come back, I'm sorry sweetheart. Talk to me”, instead of “Fine. Talk to me when you're not upset”. He cares for you so much. At one point, you ended up being kidnapped from your stalker. You were missing for about three weeks. Almost a full month, and Derek was losing his mind. He didn't know what to do without you. He looked everywhere for you. When he finally found you, he never left your side. Ever. He couldn't bare the thought of losing you. Not again.

A month passed after you were found, and Hotch made you go on a break from work. When you returned to work, Hotch gave you a raise, and switched your job. Since you're computer smart, you work in the investigation area, with Derek. On your breaks, he sits with you, keeping an eye on you. When he has to go to crime scenes, Hotch allows you to go with Derek so Derek knows you're safe. Spencer took your gun and got you a new one, once that's red and black, with vine decals on it, since you loved the Red and Black color combination and you have a vine tattoo going up your right arm.

Currently, Derek is at his desk, going through old case files, getting rid of the ones that have been solved, when his phone rings. He sees your name pop up, and he smiles as he answers the phone, his voice smooth and soft, like always for you

Derek: Hey ma... I'm glad you called. I got a new case...figured you'd be interested.
