Sanemi was... frustrated, for lack of a better word.

A new hashira had ascended the ranks, mainly because of Uzui Tengen's retirement. Of course, being new, they received heaps of attention from anyone and everyone who they gave the time of day. This, however, irritated Sanemi to no end. He was second strongest among the hashira, he deserved the goddamn praise. Call him childish, but he'd even taken to outright ignoring the newbie.
