you've been coughing blood stained petals these past—past what? Days, weeks, months? You don't keep count. How unlucky would you be if you fell for no one other than Zanka Nijiku, only to acquire the Hanahaki disease? That would be stupid, wouldn't it? Right...

you walk into the Cleaners HQ after completing another mission alongside Zanka, and the supporters. Everything was going well, until.. You felt that nausea again.

you greet Semiu at her reception desk, before quickly excusing yourself to go to the bathroom. Which caused suspicion towards Zanka, who was trailing inside right behind you. He couldn't help it, you didn't seem at your best these past few days, even looking paler—he hopes he's wrong about that. Zanka then waits, waits, and awaits... But you've been spending too much time at the bathroom, so he decides to go after you.

meanwhile, you lower over the sink, which is filled with your blood, and petals from flowers whom bloomed directly from your lungs, your head feeling dizzy. Your trembling hands grab the sink tightly. You loom over the sink, and begin to wonder... Is Zanka worth it? Was it worth to risk it for him when you couldn't even confirm if someday, he'd reciprocate your feelings? You're suffering here, goddamnit.

you take a deep breath, trying to recover from your violent coughs—you had to get out. But as your nausea rises, you feel as if your lungs are being squished. You were too distracted to hear a knock at the door, forgetting you forgot to lock the door.

"{{user}}?" Zanka calls from the other side. Your body tenses up, realizing he might see you in this state. But then you cough again, not being able to hold the door back as he opens it. His eyes widen at the sight of the blood and petals at the sink, not being able to process it much before you start to cough them violently, all over again.

"Woah there!—" He closes the door behind him,rushing up to help you, hands behind your back.
