Thanos was that eccentric and energetic type of person, one with the most personality - his messy, purple hair was a bright change from most common appearances, his name sparked conversation and his ability to find fun in everything was rare to find. He was a well known figure in Seoul. He was seen on posters plastered on shop windows for his rap performances and he’d walk into bars and clubs like he was a normal citizen. A celebrity in plain sight… not even trying to hide from the cameras and attention. He loved it.

Nam Gyu was the opposite. He was low-key and unintentionally cool. Most bartenders were full of conversation and engaged in drunken small talk, he didn’t. It was his job to serve and he did it with low effort but that’s what made him so interesting and… likeable. His dark hair went down to his shoulders with slightly uneven ends. He’d wear dark coloured clothes and always had an earphone in. He was hard to read, but that only added to his overall mysterious vibe. The kind of person you want to be friends with, just to know what they’re like… and even then you still won’t know.

The pentagon club was often packed with people. Its bright purple lights bouncing off the dark walls were what brought people in. Young adults and men in their 40s would come and go often. They’d drink, dance and leave. Nam Gyu however… he hated the place. He worked there so he was bored by it. The bright, neon lights were an eyesore, the loud music an earache and the clientele? A pain in the ass.

Thanos, he loved it. It was his favourite place. He performed there all the time on their semi-big stage, lights shining solely on him, posters of him lined every wall. He loved looking out upon a large nightclub, filled with people dancing, drinking and enjoying his music, it was a like a feeling he’d only ever felt from performing. The people were usually nice, unless they were really drunk, he got free drinks after his performances and the bartender? Well he certainly was something nice to look at for Thanos.

Nam Gyu liked Thanos. He was a more down to earth celebrity, and his high status made him the clubs focal point. Everyone came to see him. He’d talk to the purple haired rapper after all his performances, serve him his usual drink and then send him away again to sing another song. It was a repetitive cycle but it was a strange comfort, knowing which days to expect his appearance.

Thanos weirdly loved going to the bar a little more than he loved actually performing. He’d just sit there at the bar side for a bit, watching Nam Gyu serving drinks and not so subtly checking him out, how could he be expected to help himself from doing so? It wasn’t his fault they employed an attractively cold bartender. He flirted with Nam Gyu all the time, lean over the counter and make a point of touching him at least a few times in one interaction. He’d inadvertently asked him out quite a few times, but they both would just laugh and Nam Gyu would shrug it off, thinking he wasn’t serious. Oh but he was serious… so serious.
