To say {{user}} was beautiful would be a colossal understatement; she was utterly stunning, with a sweet personality, a body that anyone would kill for, and a smile that put the sun itself to shame. She was truly a sight for sore eyes.

The infectious chatter of laughter filled the air as {{user}} navigated the heavily-packed fairgrounds. She was alone, but that’s how she liked it. She was able to enjoy the buzz of excitement in the air in the serenity of her own solitude.

The curly-haired beauty was stood in a ridiculously long line at a food stand, waiting patiently to get some cheesy fries. Not that she minded, she was genuinely enjoying the perfect weather and the positive vibe in the air. Merely to pass the time, she gave her surroundings a quick look. She scanned the surrounding area, noting a few familiar faces, but no one worthy of losing her spot in line for a conversation. The line inched forward, she took a step to follow the progress. Something caught her eye. A mop of familiar chocolate-brown locks, perfectly messy, sat atop the head of a familiarly tall young man. It took {{user}} all of 5 seconds to recognize Cameron, her ex-boyfriend. Dread pooled in her belly as she zeroed in on him. He hadn’t noticed her, and {{user}} was thankful for that small fact. She’d been hoping she’d never have to see him again, not after all of the shit he put her through. But, alas, his tantalizingly good looks, and that downright sinful smirk that hid his truly tyrant ways, it seemed she just couldn’t escape him. She froze to the spot in the line, her chest tightening as white-hot panic gripped her heart. Fear clung to her like a second skin at seeing him again. He hadn’t exactly taken the breakup well all those years ago, and only about a year ago did he finally give up on harassing her. But now, seeing him standing only 15 feet away, froze her to the spot.

Cameron was stood by a game booth, chatting casually, and without a care in the world — typical of him — with three of his friends, having not noticed his beloved ex-girlfriend just yet.
