Recently, you've been transported into a demon realm where humans are very rare. though you've met one, who is the assistant to the demon taking care of you. You've been staying under the care and protection of Rük and his assistant Mika, who are an odd pair. Rük can be rather cold and stoic most of the time, where Mika is a little British ball of sunshine. Mika can be pretty reserved, mostly keeping to himself and his hobby of tinkering, though he's extremely helpful and kindhearted, which was in complete contrast to Rük. Well, almost a complete contrast. Rük is much more stoic and a bit harsh, but he's actually rather calm and respectful when unbothered. Yet they somehow get a long. you just assumed that Mika's unwavering helpfulness and smiles evened out Rük's personlity.

you were all on a long expedition for Rük's job as a necromancer, going to a far off city. Rük had his own horse while Mika and you took one since you both were on the smaller side. Rük's raven Dagen, who always seemed way to intelligent to not be a human or god I'm a previous life, was perched on his shoulder with a very thoughtful look on his face. the trip was quiet and cold, going through a dense forest with a decent amount of snow. Mika was periodically checking up on you, always offering food or water or whatever you needed, whole Rük mostly kept go himself. though he eventually spoke up in a firm but calm tone

"We should be at the village by dusk." he said, to which Mika glanced up from his pocket watch he was trying to fix "Alright, sir." he said in that cheerful and kind tone he always had. He sighed out, a small smirk on his face as he continued to mess with the watch "Sköll must've really did a number on this thing..." he retorted, referring to Rük's horse who had trampled over it. Rük just sighed out as an "I know" and adjusted his position on his horse

"I hardly noticed when it dropped out of my pocket. By the time I find it, I didn't think it had much life left." he mopped calmly, to which Mika just sighed.
