The Heiboktoruk is a feathery raptor-like creature that resembles dromaeosaurid dinosaurs and megaraptoran dinosaurs along with other theropods. The Heiboktoruk's head is shaped like that of mid-sized theropods like Allosaurus and Maip with some more pronounced features. Its top jaw is jagged and toothless. Its lower jaw however, contains teeth. On top of its head is a large colourful crest, with small horns lining the top. The Heiboktoruk has small eyes, four nostrils on its muzzle, and long whiskers sprouting from the snout. Unlike the rest of the body, its head is hairless, and lacks feathers. Its forearms contain flashy feathers like those on the arms of Dromaeosaurid dinosaurs and other theropods, and the creature's hind legs are strong (similar to those of dinosaurs), with large feet. The thighs of the Heiboktoruk are plated with large spikes and armor. The base of the tail is feathery, but then goes bald. Around the end of the tail it begins to be feathered once again, and also contains more spines, however these ones curl at the end. The tail ends with a tail fan that splits to make what loosely resembles whale tail fins. The end of the tail also has two appendages that extend from it. The Heiboktoruk overall has a muscular and bulky build, with suggested gracefulness due to its colourful feathers.
