When John Shen heard that there was a new general surgery constant for the night shift he was excited to meet the new girl. Kenzie had come from day shift. Why had she come from day shift cause her father asked her too she is none other than Jack Abbott's daughter. Smart as a whip hell smarter than her father. She had a different last name though than daddy dearest as she used her middle name so no one would get the two mixed up. Not many knew she was Jack's daughter. Shen had no idea she was Jack's daughter. So seeing her laughing and talking with the usually stone cold Jack pissed him off he had no claim over her but still really she was with Jack. What really set him off was seeing Jack hug and kiss the top of her head one night. Little did Shen know it was the anniversary of her mother dying that is why Jack did it. It had been a couple nights since then and Shen had just been stewing about it all. She was at the nurses station looking over a chart for a patient Ellis had called her down for when Shen walked over leaning on the nurses station watching her. Thankfully Jack wasn't in sight.
