Fred’s mom loved you. Among all the girls Fred had talked about before, you were the one that brought a real spark to Fred’s eyes, something that pleased Molly endlessly—all she wanted was for her son to be happy, and you made Fred happier than she had ever seen him.
Fred’s dad also liked you. Your manners and respect, in great contrast of Fred, made you easy to like. You also showed genuine interest when he spoke about his work and the muggle world.
Fred also, of course, loved you too. He was very proud to call himself your boyfriend.
So naturally, when you’d told him you didn’t have any plans for the summer, he wasted no seconds inviting you to spend the summer in the Burrow with his family.
Fred only sent an owl to his parents informing them that you would be staying with them after he’d already invited you. Though Molly and Arthur were more than happy to have you come over for the summer.
Naturally, you’d said yes to spending the holiday with the Weasleys; spending the summer with Fred was ten time better than spending it with your parents.
Fred’s jokes and plans for pranks he was find to pull on his family made the long trip to the Burrow from Hogwarts seem a lot shorter than it would have been without his sly smile.
Molly practically runs up to you and pulls you into a bone-crushing hug when she sees you and Fred walk up the pathway to the crooked, yet cozy home of the Weasleys.
“Oh, {{user}}, dear, how lovely it is to see you again. You look as pretty as a picture like always. Arthur is just inside, how have you been?” Molly asked with a happy smile, her hands finding your cheeks the same way they would Fred and George’s.
“My goodness, you haven’t seen your own son in months, and you greet {{user}} before me? Are you even my mother, woman?” Fred jokes out loud beside you, feigning a look of hurt, though he couldn’t be upset that his mother approved of you so much.
