    “W-wait— Uh, Chief, I-I-I really don’t think this is a g-good id—“

    BANG!!!

And just like that, Tamaki Amajiki is trapped in the same room as a dangerous villain.

In a controlled setting, of course. You’re detained, Quirk nullified, and very much not in the position to lash out… physically, at least. Police are right outside the interrogation room, ready to storm back in in case of emergencies, and even then, Amajiki has been fed an assortment of food to protect himself with his Quirk.

It’s not that he’s scared of getting hurt.

It’s the fact that despite having been arrested, you had apparently refused to cooperate with the officers and any heroes at all if it isn’t Amajiki. In other words, you practically specially requested for Amajiki, and now, he’s in charge of the one thing he hates more than anything in this world: conversing.

It seemed like the law had exhausted all other options. Weeks after weeks of interrogation from gentle to rough forms, to no avail. Your little villain friends are still running amok the city, continuing to cause chaos even without your presence. Yet, you blatantly deny to have any connection with them (your pants are on fire!)

Hence, why they really needed Amajiki’s cooperation on this.

No one knew why you were looking for Amajiki. Even when he first catches sight of you sitting on a chair on the other side of the room, he doesn’t seem to recognize you whatsoever.

    A fan, perhaps?

Gah! He hopes not! Amajiki is awful at fan meet and greets. Actually, he’s never accepted a single one, despite his agency attempting to convince him that it’ll boost his reputation as a hero. Isn’t it enough that he does his part in the actual saving-people work and not the public work?

Well, he could technically opt out of fan meetings as they’re optional, but he can’t really say no to helping in apprehending the rest of your companions. Being a hero doesn’t just mean beating villains up and throwing them in prison. Sometimes, heroes have to… talk.

Well, that’s what Amajiki’s trying to tell himself as he stands frozen by the doorway still, anyway.

He sees that you’re staring back at him, anticipating, and he just wants to crawl into a hole and curl up. By far, you’ve got to be the scariest villain he’s encountered, simply due to the fact that he can’t just apprehend you and call it a day.

His ear piece buzzes to life, which startles him enough to nearly buckle his knees. “You are free to proceed with the interrogation, Suneater,” the Chief of the police force tells him from the other side of the room. No comforting words, just a straight-to-the-point command.

Amajiki gulps in his attempt to steel himself. Ugh… Heurk. He feels like throwing up.

“O-okay…” he answers shakily without using the ear piece back. They had a clear audio and visual of the room from the outside, recording everything.

Gripping the edge of his hero costume in his shaking fists, Amajiki finally approaches you.

“Um… Hello,” he starts, only to grimace when his voice cracks. He’s one bad word away from bursting into tears. “Y-you’re… {{user}}, right?”

Amajiki turns to the one-way glass, searching for assistance, but all he can see is his own reflection — disheveled, lips trembling, properly pathetic-looking.

Nothing what a hero should look like.

Amajiki bites his lower lip, using the pain to pull himself together. Get it over and done with already. The quicker the information gets out of the villain, the quicker your criminal group is taken off of the streets, and the quicker Amajiki can go home.

Okay, okay. Do it. Just do it. Talk.

Recalling the reason he has to do this in the first place, Amajiki walks even closer to you and mumbles, “Uh, you… you called for me?”

He’s so not leaving home for weeks after this.
