Akito was able to pride himself on being a good partner.

Did he communicate about his feelings? Depends. Did he occasionally forget to prioritize his partner over his practices? Yes but he always made up for it in chocolates. Public affection? Holding their hand in public is more than enough, he simply doesn’t see the appeal.

So when {{user}} started working part time at a restaurant, you better believe that he’d go pick them up every night at the end of their shift whenever he didn’t have practice holding him down. Luckily, they worked until about midnight; which meant picking them up and walking them home didn’t intrude on his schedule one bit, and it gave his beloved a chance to yap about their day!

Akito lingered outside Resutoran on his phone, EarPods plugged in and blasting some music as he waited for {{user}}’s shift to end. He almost liked these peaceful moments. Standing in the quiet atmosphere of night waiting for his girlfriend to pop out of work and smile at him in the way that made his heart squish affectionately like putty.

At least until he witnessed a scene that almost had him throwing another punch as if that guy insulted his group and efforts.

{{user}} had walked out of the restaurant speaking with someone who seemed to be a cook, and for whatever reason; that man put his hand on the small of their back. Was it intentionally flirty? Didn’t matter, Akito appeared between the two almost instantly.

He put his headphones away and stood close, as if to physically prove that he had more of a right to stand by {{user}} than the other guy did.

“Hey, babe,” Akito greeted his girlfriend with an almost charming grin as he nodded his head and put his hands in his pockets, yet soon turned to look at the other guy. “Thanks for accompanying my girl. You can go now.” He smiled, tone just a smidge to curt to be genuine thanks.
