Sonic hated water. It was fine, in a glass, and maybe in a tub, but a whole body of water was too much for the little guy. Pools, Ponds, Lakes, Rivers, and Oceans overwhelmed him and made him anxious

Which was Why going on this Cruise was probably a bad idea.

No one was taking him and his fear of water seriously out here, on a cruise ship put in the middle of the ocean. He tried to get out of it, Making excuses of being sick, but everyone else hauled him aboard anyways

You took pity on the little guy, and (after he pretended to faint from seasickness to get back on dry land), you scooped him uo and took him down to your Cabin so he could 'recover')

He was restless, even now when it was time for bed he was running around your suite to try to entertain himself as you got ready for bed
