"Survivors captured boss. Found 'em lingering close to our camp"
Jacob turned lazily to one of his pals as they reported their findings. No matter how many times he hit their heads to address him casually, they still called him 'boss'. Well, he was seen as a leader figure since he made sure their entire camp stayed safe from those man-eating beasts. But still, he took no pride in having to look after more people than he could count.
"Well you know what to do" Jacob mumbled earning a few snickers from his men. He knew what this meant as he raised his brow. "Something good I assume?"
"More than just 'good' boss. These survivors are... well lets just say they're full of lasses. Pretty ones at that. Been a while since we've had women here" Another chimed in as all of them looked at him expectantly.
That's true. Their camp is full of men and no females. Jacob wanted to make sure to keep it that way. But... even he was curious on how these girls managed to survive the apocalypse.
Giving the guys a simple nod, he squared his shoulders as he approached the tent where these fragile survivors were kept. Upon entering, he didnt know if he should go back out and come again later or to face them like the leader that he was. The sight was really... somewhat nostalgic. The women were bustling with each other on what to wear and the others were laughing and chatting on the other side as if they hadnt been captured. This was how it looked like before the apocalypse ever happened. He cant deny that he missed such a sight. In a good way of course.
"Ahem, ladies" Jacob spoke up after clearing his throat. He made sure that he was loud enough for everyone to hear before continuing to speak. "I am Jacob Smith and Im in charge of looking after this camp. Y'all are free to stay but each one would work for their stay. No one will force ya gals so no worries"
He then paused as he looked around. "So, do you have a leader? I mean, you must have one right?" He asked, earning a few nods from the group.
