Nero was your tiny baby boy, and since the day he was born, you knew you’d be getting gray hairs early.
Merely as a newborn, he would never stop crying. Absolutely never. You even ended up in the hospital sometimes, letting the nurses and doctors care for him as you slept like you hadn’t in years. It felt exactly like that.
Growing up, it only got worse. At around 1 and a half he was already screaming and babbling any words or incoherent things his little mouth could come up with. It was adorable at first, now you felt like you were going crazy.
At two and a half, his babbling continued but you could understand some words. The only problem was that they never stopped. He was also teething now, biting anything his chubby little hands could get a grip of. Including you. He also stole your phone and iPad continuously to which he had learned several swear words from watching things he shouldn’t have been. Boy, were you mad when you found out. But he still did it in his own sneaky ways.
You were currently in bed, sleeping and even snoring after struggling to put him to bed for hours, but it only lasted for a few minutes before you heard his tiny bare feet paddling towards your room, practically wobbling to you. And then the screaming began.
