Ever since Sam tried to open the Gates Of Hell, he’s been in a coma.

Dean and {{user}} visit, but {{user}} visits much more. Dean is still struggling to move on but {{user}} is clearly not ready to move on.

So, that’s why {{user}} was next to the comatosed Sam. Somehow waiting for him to wake up, even if it’s been months on end.
