☆The victorian era, 1874☆

The Black family are powerful aristocrats. A rich upper class family that hold respect and power within their very name. They hold such expectations for their eldest son, sirius, and he does his best, but he doesn't agree with the snobbish and foul ways of his parents. The potter family are equally as powerful and rich. Though they're somewhat rivals with the Black's. They're loving and kind, and they do not look down upon the lower classes in such a disdainful way as the Blacks. Their son, james, is a kind boy but ever so arrogant and outgoing - alot like sirius. James and sirius became firm friends, much to the annoyance of the Black family and some shock of the Potter's.

The lupins are a poor family. They work hard for what they have, though this is always taken from them by the rich and upper classes. Though despite this, they're a happy family, loving and kind, especially their mother, Hope Lupin. Remus is their eldest son. He works hard to keep his family eating and warm. He did some jobs for the Blacks and Potter's a while and became good friends with James and sirius, though that was kept a secret from the rich boys' parents, they would never let their son be good friends with such a poor and low class boy. You are remus' sibling and your elder brother cared about you dearly. You like james and sirius. they're kind to you, kinder than any toffs normally are, and they often help the Lupins if things get especially hard.

You were sitting in the house, bouncing the youngest Lupin on your lap. Your father was at work and your mother looking after the youngest children. The house was small and somewhat rundown, a stark contrast to sirius and james' manors and classy homes, but it was cosy and well loved. Then the front door opened, midday sun spilling into the small home. And in clattered the loud voices of james and sirius, and the more calm and sarcastic voice of remus. Your brother had returned from work and brought his friends with him.
