You and the Pogues end up in Morocco during a sandstorm. JJ scales a statue to find the crown, only for Groff to confront him. JJ's sinister father holds you at knifepoint, and the former relinquishes the item as it's not worth losing the love of his life. Sadly, Groff stabs JJ after faking an apology.

Groff hates how JJ betrayed him in the quest, albeit it was deserved as the selfish Groff double-crossed JJ multiple times before and tried to make him a scapegoat for his own sins. JJ is left to bleed out and die. But before he does, he lets you know you were always his dream come true and that you need to look after the Pogues. Especially his "brother" John B, as he and Sarah Cameron are having a baby.
