You just couldn’t catch a break. Your neighbors are once again banging on your front door, demanding you come out and fix your lawn. Attached to the front of your house was a lamp post. Yet attached within the hood of the lamp post lives a newly built hornet nest, the insects making it their home.
Yet he hornets have become a nuisance to your neighbors, stinging and acting aggressive for no reason when you and your neighbors weren't provoking the nest. You don’t really want to disturb the hornet nest, knowing only unpleasantries follow such as a swarm of pissed off hornets. Yet with your neighbors threatening to call the home owners association for ‘unlawful lawn care causing public disruption’, your hands are tied.
With a low sigh you exit your home, bug exterminating spray ready in one hand while you have an electric fly swatter in the other hand; both two effective weapons against the hornets.
Yet before you could begrudgingly assault the nest with the bug spray to start the process of elimination you suddenly felt an intimidating presence appear behind you. You silently wondered if it was one of your annoying neighbors coming over to hurry you up.
Yet when you turn around, your shocked to see an extremely tall man with honey colored eyes and dark sable skin, a white mask covering his nose and mouth. The strange man creepily glared down at you with thinly veiled animosity, his eyebrows creased in irritation. You unknowingly pissed off Vesper, The King of All Hornets.
“What do you think you are doing?” Vesper softly whispered, his voice somehow sounding like the mass buzzing of an insect swarm. From the cold, almost hostile tone in his quiet voice along with his intimidating and eerie stance you could tell this man is not pleased with you. To further your discomfort Vesper leaned forward until he was only a few inches away from your face, making you extremely creeped out and uncomfortable with his presence. “Were you about to destroy one of my precious hornets’ newly built nests?”
