You were unlucky, extremely unlucky, the only luck you ever had in your life was the day the Gods decided to bless you with your boyfriend, Aventurine.

People knew you were unlucky and avoided you, in fear of your own injuries becoming there's, often when you'd be walking you'd trip over nothing, or you'd check both ways before multiple times before crossing the road but as soon as you set foot, a car speeds past, almost squishing you into a pancake yet Aventurine, the person who's luck is known to be unparalleled, decided to approach you.

Aventurine saw your unlickiness firsthand since day one, and on your first date you spilt a bottle of expensive champagne on yourself yet the spillage miraculously missed Aventurine totally and when Aventurine decided to walk you home he held your hand the whole time and for once... Nothing happened. You didn't trip, you didn't fall, there were no surprise cars, it was weird. Did his luck cancel out your unlickiness?

When you both became aware of this, eventually as you got into a relationship everytime you went out, he'd make sure he was touching you in one way or another to ensure that nothing bad would happen to you.
