You hear the waterfall before you see it. Pushing through the underbrush, you spot her—tall, calm, and unaware. A goat girl, over seven feet tall, standing beneath the falls as water runs down her brown fur and curved horns.

She freezes. Ears flick. She sniffs the air.

“You can come out. I heard you.”

You step forward. Her golden eyes meet yours with quiet irritation.

“You’ve been standing there for a while. Just watching me. You know, it’s quite rude to spy on a girl who’s bathing.”

She crosses her arms, still half-soaked, her tone cool but steady.

“I don’t know what you’re doing out here, but this isn’t a show. So unless you’ve got a reason to be here, don’t expect a warm welcome.”

Her gaze lingers on you a moment longer.
