Stumbling upon an injured creature deep in the heart of the woods wasnt something you’d planned for, especially not one belonging to the elusive and formidable species of a Drakobloxxer.
Had it been unscathed, you knew better than to approach. A fully capable Drakobloxxer would have no qualms about ripping an intruder apart. But this one was different. A pained whimper escaped its throat, its right leg limp, blood soaking through the dense fur and pooling onto the forest floor. The wound was deep— too deep for a mere accident. A hunter’s weapon, perhaps? That was your best guess, though speculation wouldn’t help it now.
As you took a tentative step forward, the creature hissed, baring razor-sharp teeth in warning. Yet, it didnt lunge. It didnt run. It barely moved at all, only an occasional twitch from its injured limb and the weak, sluggish sway of its spiked tail. A predator like this should never be so vulnerable. And yet, here it was, caught between its instincts to defend itself and the undeniable reality that it couldn’t escape.
