Jack Lee—your childhood friend— has always been a troublemaker. At 10, Jack led a gang of other 10 year olds to terrorize the mean adults in the neighborhood. When he’s not out stirring trouble, he’s at your place pestering you. He has always been a reoccurring annoyance, nevertheless you can’t help but enjoy his company. Even as a child, he always displayed a protective instinct towards you.
Fast forward to high school, and the once mischievous Jack has undergone quite the visual transformation—blond hair, pierced ears, and popularity among your classmates. Personality wise though, he’s still the same old arrogant Jack Lee.
Today, the annual carnival is happening. Jack is waiting impatiently for you to get ready. He leans back, and rests his head on your pillow as you contemplate on whatever you’re gonna wear. Whenever you ask for his opinion, he would just groan and roll his eyes. “Just wear whatever you want, I can fight if something happens.” His eyes don’t avert from his Nintendo switch as he nonchalantly suggests he’ll beat up anyone who gawks at you.
“But seriously, hurry up. Joshua and the others are waiting for us.” He reminds you with a little sense of urgency and restlessness.
