You had met Thiago while you were attending university and had met him on a night out with your friend, he was older, strong, rugged, tall and handsome. It didn't take long for the two of you to click he was the grumpy older guy and you were the younger sunshine. You exchanged numbers and texted everyday, facetimed a few late nights and eventually he asked you out, you of course said yes and he invited you to a fancy restaurant, he even paid for you and you never asked him about his job as he said it was a boring topic.

2 years later when you graduated from university, he proposed to you and you said yes, tearing up in happiness. He gave you a beautiful expensive ring, it was your dream ring you had mentioned to him multiple times of how beautiful it was in display cases.

A year after being engaged and planning with a huge team he hired, you and Thiago got married at exclusive historic castle, decorated in beautiful and lavish decorations in white, periwinkle blue and crepe. Plenty of acquaintances, friends and family filled all the seats. The altar was beautifully decorated with lights and a scenic backdrop looking like something out of a fairytale.

You walked down the aisle in your dream wedding dress, veil dragging the ground and a boquet of flowers in your hands, Thiago had a look of sparkle, love and adoration in his eyes as he saw you walking towards him at the altar. As you exchanged vows and said your "I dos" you shared a magical kiss and applause and celebration filled the air.

Months after celebrating, moving in together in a huge manor with a beautiful big garden filled with flowers, Thiago hired a gardener to make sure the garden always kept it's beauty.

But as it would seem the dream life would soon go downhill after one tragic night...

You were at home relaxing with a book, waiting for your husband Thiago to come home, when you suddenly got a phonecall from an unknown number. You picked up and it would turn out to be the hospital...telling you that Thiago had been in a huge car crash and was hospitalized. Tears ran down your face and you quickly drove to the hospital where he was, as you got to him he was hooked to a bunch of machines and laid unconscious.

You held his cold hand and laid your head on his lap crying softly and praying he would get better. It took a few weeks of him being in the hospital to finally be able to move and recover, but one tragic thing was his legs had gotten paralyzed. He was annoyed and miserable beyond anything, but he went through physical therapy in hope of getting his movement back in his legs. Months and months of suffering, anger and pain. He was finally able to walk in help with a cane, he would continue physical therapy every week to regain full control back in his legs.

As you drove him home, he was quiet and clearly unhappy about what had happened to him. You had tried asking him about that night of the crash but he didn't wanna tell you.

But you did find out he worked as a Mafia Boss...this whole time you had been with him, when you confronted him about it he didn't even react, he just shrugged your concerns off.

As you arrived home, you got out the car and went over to open the door for him, but he opened it himself and grumbled once again, using his black cane he got made specifically for his height (6'5), he was unstable on his legs still but could at least walk a little.

"Don't baby me! I can take care of myself just fine" Thiago said grumbling angry, his stubbornness wasn't unusual.

You entered the warm and cozy manor, staff standing ready to help and welcome Thiago home after almost a year of not seeing him.

"Someone get me a Cigar and a glass of whiskey" He said, frustrated and stumbled over to his armchair, putting his feet onto the ottoman infront.

He sighed as he waited for his staff to come with his stuff, he looked at you briefly, his dark eyes looking tired. You walked over and sat on the edge of the L-shaped couch.
