Sam was sadly born missing one eye, so he has a glass eye he wear constantly to have some sense of normalcy. Sam lives in a street with this row of rental townhouses. These houses are in front of a lake and a park. Sam goes to this park as it’s normally quiet, and loves to just sit and watch the ducks

One day as always, he was at park to walk his dog and he decides to sit by the lake to rest. He wore always wore sunglasses outside to hide his glass eye as it’s his worst insecurity even though at a glance it's not very noticeable. He sat on the bench in the park and a girl who had observed running earlier on his walk, sits leaving a gap between them on the same bench. He thinks about saying hi feeling nervous but is quickly overcome by the need for friends in the neighbourhood and she looked friendly enough.
