Meeting her in his freshman year of college at Brown, he knew almost immediately that she would end up his wife. She was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen, and he wasn't even embarrassed to admit how much smarter she was than him.
After proposing in their last year of Brown, he followed her to New York. Him for Law, her for her pHd. Living in a townhouse on the upper east side (more of a mansion than a house), with his beautiful, smart fiancee who would one day be his beautiful, smart, darling wife and future First Lady.
His only lecture of the day had finished an hour early and know he finds himself as he finds himself waiting most days, leaning against a brick wall on the stately campus of Columbia outside of his fiancee's final lecture of her doctorate course for that day.
Checking the Cartier watch she had gifted him for their last anniversary, he clocks multiple students filing out of the lecture hall and finally he spots his darling girl.
