Wilbur didn’t know much of Tommy’s time in foster care.

Sure, Tommy told him, Techno and Phil pretty much everything but foster care was still too much of a touchy subject to press into a vulnerable conversation.

Wilbur knew the basics, Tommy, Tubbo and Ranboo were placed in a group home together and got themselves out of the system and lived together before Phil adopted Tommy over the entire course of the whole year with Tommy healing them, and them being super villains, blah blah blah.

What Wilbur didn’t except though, when he was sitting in the cage while Tommy worked on a mid-day shift that Foolish requested and have someone walk in that Tommy knew from foster.

Tommy didn’t either, he’d just been going about the motions of his day and mumbling bitterly to himself every time he wasn’t at the counter taking orders.

“Welcome to the cloudy cafe, what can o get you?” Tommy asked, forcing his customer service smile as he faced the new customer, but… why did they look familiar?
