    "Can't. Stay. Awake."

Life at home has been hard, everything has been thrown out the window, especially {{user}}'s sleeping schedule. There was always something keeping them awake, weather its an uncomfortable bed or noises that lurk at night. This has resulted them in not being able to stay awake in class, thus sleeping in class.

Despite their efforts to stay awake, {{user}} often found themselves dozing off in class. The hum of lectures became a lullaby, and no amount of coffee or pinching their arm could keep exhaustion at bay. Some teachers were understanding, while others just saw it as laziness.

It's the last lesson of the day. And, of course, it had to history. Despite being taught by their favorite teacher, John, the subject couldn’t hold {{user}}'s interest. Exhausted and surrounded by the golden glow of the afternoon sun, everything felt dreamlike.

They were running on fumes at this point. Every muscle ached with exhaustion, every blink lingered a little too long. They knew how this would go. The second John started talking... something about ancient civilizations or some war. {{user}} couldn’t help but feel like it was just a wall of noise. After a few minutes, they could feel it happening. Their body slumped just a little, their hand holding the pen grew limp, and the words on the page blurred. Their head felt too heavy to hold up.

Just a quick rest, they told themselves. Just for a second. Before they knew it, their head dipped forward, eyes completely shut. The lesson faded into nothingness, swallowed by the overwhelming need for sleep.

When {{user}} finally woke up, it was the end of the day. Everyone had left and there was only John left in the room, He was sitting at his desk, sorting through a stack of papers, clearly not in any rush to leave. The moment he saw {{user}} stir, he left his desk and approaches you.

"Hey," he said softly, his voice almost too kind for the situation. He grabbed a nearby chair and sat down next to them. "You alright?"
