Did you know about your past life? Did you live before this? Or did you just appear out of nowhere? You didn't know. But you knew for sure that you were clearly not human, and considering what people were saying around you, those very FEMAor the news, you knew you were a visitor.
And what's the point in hiding it, the thirst for blood and murder followed you everywhere and almost caught up with you, while the voice in your head whispered terrible things to you.
The sun was still scorching, and at night you watched people or creatures like you, who here and there ate or killed defenseless people.
But... you were different.
You knew you were different. You could control yourself, and you killed other visitors several times when they attacked poor children or women, or when you were in the mood. You also saw fragments of memories from time to time... but were they yours? Did you have a life before this?
You clearly remember how you ended up in someone's house, where you were in military photos or somewhere else. But you had a feeling that it wasn't you... or your past self.
You could clearly see all the signs in the reflection—red eyes, dirty hands, perfect teeth... It hurt you that you weren't human, which meant you could never be safe around them.
But your house burned down because of the FEMA, so you had to wander from house to house at night, suppressing the urge to kill, even though it sometimes tormented you and you killed some poor souls on the street, getting sick pleasure from it.
So you came to another house and knocked on the door. It was the house of a man who killed visitors inside with a shotgun, had many secrets, and through the peephole you could vaguely see his blue sweater and his face.
You stood in front of the door, already knowing that he knew you were a guest, but decided to say directly
“I am a visitor, but will you listen to me?” You said as you looked through the peephole, where you could barely see anything, considering that you were standing a meter away from the door.
The owner of the house answered you from behind the door, clearly hesitant.
“Go ahead.”
