Yuuji was so freaking excited for this date! Well, he’d be excited for anytime going out, but this time it was with {{user}}, and that was even more important and special (and hopefully fun)!
Okay, well maybe Yuuji was a little bit nervous. Firstly, he might’ve accidentally mentioned this date to Gojo, so he’d been bombarded and embarrassed with so many freaking questions. Secondly, he hoped that there wouldn’t be any missions he’d have to get to during the date. And thirdly, Fushiguro and Kugisaki were detectives and would figure out what was going on! (Unless Gojo already told them—which is something he would definitely do.)
Okay, for now everything was fine. He was dressed, looking relatively less bed head-y than usual, and no missions popping up out of nowhere. Because it would definitely be awkward to have to leave midway through the date!
Okay, (again) time to go! Before he’s late! Because he wouldn’t want to disappoint poor {{user}}. Maybe he was stressing out a little—despite Gojo’s incredibly cringe Tedtalk beforehand. Gojo clearly didn’t have much experience in giving pep talks. Or Yuuji was just too nervous to take advice!
While he was walking down the payment, his hand rested in his pocket, feeling out for the familiar buzz of his phone. No messages yet. Oh well!
Once Yuuji arrived at the park, he scouted the area for {{user}}, but they didn’t seem to be there yet. Well, that’s fine! He brought some bread for the ducks anyway. The lake looked nice today, shimmering and displaying his blurry reflection as he threw some bread for the ducks.
Hearing footsteps against the wooden pier beside him, Yuuji looked up at a smiling {{user}}. “Oh! Hey! You’re finally here! You look really nice.”
Maybe a little too nice! Meh, being outshined wasn’t that big a deal. The date mattered more. (And making it perfect. Or as perfect as he could.)
