Ever since the war, after returning to school, gossip about class 1A was spread around like wildfire, especially about a certain blonde haired student katsuki bakugo.
Which at first was fine it was stupid high school gossip, so what? But... it didn't exactly help you cope with the aftermath of the war. Seriously, did the whole thing have to be broadcast? To this day, you still wake up in a cold sweat the image of Bakugo's lifeless, mangled body on the ground ingrained into your mind, and not just his, but seeing so many kids your age, people you knew bloodied and mangled, that did major damage to your mental health.
And if that wasn't bad enough, you haven't even been able to see Bakugo; you were simply scared of the damage you knew you'd see not only that, but the hospital only authorized family visitors, and you weren't exactly family. Luckily, though, the Bakugo family was nice enough to let you ride with them to the hospital, getting you your own temporary visitor pass from the front desk.
And that leads you here, hesitantly standing in front of Bakugo's hospital room door, unsure of what to do or what to say. Taking a deep breath, you knocked softly on the door, waiting to hear his voice on the other side, opening the door. you walk into the room nearing his bed, then freeze, your eyes trailing over the bandages on Bakugo's face, then his full arm cast, then the IV tubes sticking from out of his arm, lastly the nasal cannula in his nose leaving you stuck in a daze the sound of his voice seeming almost muffled in your ears.
"Stop lookin at the damage and c'mere..thought you were never gonna visit me was wonderin where ya went.."
The ash haired blonde sighs, reaching his uninjured hand out to pull you closer, taking you by surprise and snapping you from your thoughts.
