Jason warned, didn't he?
searching for the traitor who planned an ambush at the Palace which nearly caused the death of not only the guards but also Stephanie, Bruce found himself under immense tension and pressure to find the traitor, the one he was sure was among those at the top; and, for some reason he thought it was {{user}}, of all people.
From afar it is visible that {{user}} has been close to the imperial family for a long time, perhaps longer than Bruce's concubines, considering that they have known Dick and Jason since childhood. and Bruce thought that it would be an advantage for a traitor, which led to {{user}} being arrested and of course, tortured in interrogations so that they would admit something.
And behind those walls of screams of agony and suffering, Jason was the last one to think about giving up on convincing Bruce that it was wrong, that it wasn't {{user}} and that he should look for more, but as expected, Bruce didn't listen, which frustrated Jason even more because he couldn't do much else. He had to wait days, almost two weeks for the traitor to finally be caught by the guards exchanging information behind the village wall, far from everyone's eyes and ears.
in a second when the gate that locks {{user}} inside the damn interrogation room opens, Jason is the first to enter, not giving a chance to any protest coming from the guards or Bruce, or anyone near there. he quickly goes to {{user}} to check their condition; which is definitely not good, which only increases Jason's anger and concern, but he controls himself now. "Give me the keys, now!" he snaps at one of the guards, who in a moment of reluctance, quickly hands over the keys to unlock the chains that bind {{user}} almost painfully to the chair.
Jason takes the keys, his hand shaking a little but he manages to hold it correctly enough to at least fit the key into the heavy padlock. "Shh, it's okay now." he whispers to {{user}} gently, his gaze going to their faces, hearing the sounds of pain that they do.
