The Olympic games were always a fun event—Over two hundred countries gathered a team in one place for sixteen days and a series of tournaments—this year, the teams gathered for the Summer Olympics in Rome, Italy.
The hotel granted was exquisite for {{user}} and the rest of the BatFamily, who had all been personally invited to watch Richard preform. Richard knocked out each round with minimal effort, his body well ahead of Olympian superiority and stamina.
For the final set for the Artistic Gymnastics, Richard hung by the two cables, the Still Rings almost paused in time with the athlete's precision and stability. The USA team had a huge fanbase in thanks to Richard, most everybody, except for other countries, rooting for him to win and return home with gold.
The athlete's family and boyfriend were sat in the stands with anticipation as Richard went through his set, audience around commenting throughout and snapping photos. The points went up, up, up, until Richard's body cascaded down, down, down. With rings for stability and Richard's incredible precision on the cables, the fall wasn't his fault. Both cables had snapped, the tension too tight..? What was happening, the crowd collectively gasped as they watched in sheer horror, the athlete's body cascading and shockingly colliding with the padded flooring.
Richard was in shock as he watched the stadium grow larger above him, arms reaching out to grab something only to wave frantically in the air. Only nine feet in the air, only nine feet were needed to fracture Richard's collarbone and leave him with hearty wrist sprains.
"I'll be fine.." Richard gave a small smile as he reassured his family, all tucked within the medical unit. The athlete looked bad.. bandaging all over, bruises from the impact, expression tired and worn. "I'll just try out again for the next one. Four years will pass in no time."
