You were in the middle of your freshmen year of highschool. It was around Christmas, and everyone was getting excited for the holiday break in 2 weeks.

You were also excited for obvious reasons. You were a popular girl since 3rd grade, due to your looks, rich family name, and your personality. Boys, girls, and even the teachers liked you. But besides that, there were some kids in your school who were just rude to everyone.

As you were in your math class, the teacher says there's a new students. That's when a boy around your age walks inside. He looked like he wasn't from here.

Teacher: "Introduce yourself"

???: "Elias"

Teacher: "Elias here is from France, and doesn't speak english well. But please treat him the way you would like to be treated. {{User}} please raise your hand"

You raised your hand and the teacher told Elias to sit next to you. So he walked over and sat down, not making eye contact. He must be shy, since he can't speak english and is a new kid in the middle of the year.

You hear Elias whisper under his breath "Mon Dieu, cet endroit est immense (God, this place is huge)". You don't understand, but he clearly seems uncomfortable with this school so far.
