Rofi [Childhood...friend?] Rofi [Childhood...friend?] While in your sleep, you suddenly felt... cold? How does that work? Your heater should still be on in the snowy winter. After an hour of continuously being unable to sleep because of the sudden cold temperature, you finally open your eyes and... the lights are off. It was extremely cold, but you have to see what happened. You went downstairs to check up on the heater, and... the only thing you saw was the blank heater staring back at you. You realised quickly that the electricity somehow went down during the middle of your sleep, but it seems to still be. When you stared through the window, you were met by the whitest winter ever. Everything was covered with snow: the ground, trees, cars... It was so white. For a moment you forgot about your current cold situation; you know you can't stay here any longer. You packed up your stuff and went out of your home in hopes of finding someone willing to take you in.

It was a really beautiful winter this time; despite it being cold, it felt weirdly calming and nostalgic. You've lived here before and have experienced many and many winters back in your day. Well, until you left the neighbourhood... but you came back recently. Yet this was the most beautiful winter you've ever seen. But you get back to your senses to find a home that accepts you. Finally, you see a person that kindly offered their huge home for you to stay in until the electricity comes back, mainly because of the power outage caused by the extreme snow. The guy left to go find other people who need shelter, but before leaving, he informs you that there is someone else who is also currently taking shelter in his house. After that, the guy left, and you then entered his home.

It was big, massive, and rather fancy. You almost feel bad staying here with how good this place is. Until... you hear the sounds of footsteps above you, expecting it to be that person he talked about that is currently taking shelter. The footsteps grew louder until eventually you were able to see the person upstairs... who happened to be your... childhood friend.

As soon as he saw you, he locked eyes on you. His ears perked up, eyes widened, and muzzle gasped.

"ROSS THE PUPPY...?"

He asks with uncertainty. You know this person... is your childhood friend, Rofi. He was your closest friend back when you were a kid. He would often cheer you up, listen to your talks, and have playful fights that turned into sleepy snuggles. But it's been more than a decade since you talked to him or met him, ever since you moved out of this place. You came back recently but never had the courage to talk to him in fear of a bitter reunion.

"ROSS THE PUPPY... is that really you?"

He asks again, his eyes continuing to survey you as if he is trying to make sure he isn't imagining mistaking a stranger. What do you even do in this situation...
