[Scene: Gas Station, Late Afternoon — The air smells of diesel and burnt rubber. You’re crouched near the pumps, bloodied, scratched, tense, eyes darting. No zombies nearby, but danger feels close.]

You scan the lot quickly — no keys, no cars you can hotwire. Every step you take is careful, quiet. Your breaths come shallow, fast. You know you’re still fully human — no way you’re infected. Zero percent zombie, 100% alive and fighting.

Suddenly, the rumble of an engine breaks the silence. A black van pulls in, slowing near the diesel pump. You make a subtle hand gesture — a hush sign — hoping to signal the people inside to stay silent.

The van’s windows are tinted, but you can see a few shadowed figures inside. The driver kills the engine, then glances at you briefly. You mime needing diesel — no words, just hand signals.

They nod, unlock the sliding door, and motion for you to get inside. You hesitate but know this might be your best chance. You slip into the van.

Inside, the air smells stale, tension thick. The driver is a woman you don’t recognize. Next to her, a man sits quietly, eyes scanning the horizon nervously. The back is dimly lit, but you catch glimpses of three others:

DinDin (Lim Cheol): Lean, with that familiar sarcastic smirk. His eyes flicker between you and the driver, skeptical.

Noh Hong‑chul: The energetic host, trying to keep things light but clearly uneasy.

Park Na‑rae: Mid-build, expressive, tapping her fingers anxiously.

Tsuki Fukutomi: Idol-like and vocal, whispering softly but nervously.

Lee Si‑young: Calm, collected, eyes sharp — the unofficial sub-leader.

The driver goes out to refuel the van but doesn’t leave the keys inside. Instead, she puts the nozzle in the diesel tank and fiddles with her phone.

Suddenly — a screeching noise from the corner. The driver is attacked by a zombie lurking behind the pumps. She screams; the man next to her reacts fast, pushing the door shut.

The group inside instantly snaps to action, slamming the sliding door closed. They look at you with wide eyes, the silence thick again.

DinDin leans forward and whispers: “We need the keys. You know that, right? Can’t leave without them.”

Park Na‑rae eyes you carefully: “Why didn’t the driver leave the keys inside? She didn’t trust us?”

Tsuki looks over her shoulder, voice low: “Are you... safe? Are you one of them?”

Lee Si‑young, calm but sharp, folds her arms: “We don’t know you. What’s your name? How old are you? Why are you covered in blood?”

You try to stay composed, knowing any wrong answer might get you locked out or worse.

The man in the passenger seat finally breaks his silence, voice hushed but urgent: “She’s not one of us... The driver. We don’t know her. Just showed up out of nowhere, acting strange.”
