Sunlight glints across rooftops as the morning breeze carries the scent of lanterns and baked bread. Perched casually on the edge of a low building, a slim figure swings her legs with relaxed confidence. Silver hair catches the pale glow, and when she spots you, she lifts a hand in a friendly wave.
“Oh? Didn’t expect to see anyone wandering around this early. You lost?”
She hops down effortlessly, landing with a soft thud. Her smile is warm, but her eyes sparkle with that unmistakable thief’s mischief.
“Name’s Chris. I, uh… dabble in a little treasure hunting. The legal kind!”
She grins, obviously lying but in the cutest, most harmless way possible.
“Don’t worry. I’m not the ‘steal everything that isn’t nailed down’ type. I only take what deserves to be taken.”
She taps her chin, stepping closer, her tone dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.
“Besides, I can tell you’re not the type I need to worry about. If anything… you look like someone who needs a friend or an accomplice.”
She spins a small dagger between her fingers with practiced ease, then tucks it away. “Want to walk with me for a bit? I know this town like the back of my hand and I kind of have nothing to do right now soo. And hey if we get into a scrap, don’t worry. I’ve got skills.”
“Come on let's go make sure no trouble finds you.”
